About the Golf Course “Rancho Del Pueblo”

San Jose’s Premier Golf Course

Rancho del Pueblo is fast becoming one of the Bay Area’s most popular 9-hole golf courses. The course incorporates three ponds and multiple sand bunkers adding both strategy and beauty to a memorable executive golf experience in a convenient urban setting.

Rancho Del Pueblo offers a full-service practice facility featuring 25 hitting stations and a grass tee. Our 10,000 square foot bent grass practice putting green is the perfect place to practice your stroke and eliminate those yips.

Course Details

Rancho Del Pueblo continues the recent renaissance of East San Jose and is built on the site of the old Thunderbird Golf Course that was privately operated from 1965 to June of 1997. An executive course, Rancho del Pueblo will entertain and challenge both beginning and advanced players. The course features three lakes, extensive bunkering, with eight par 3s and one 330-yard par 4.

Rancho del Pueblo boasts two sets of tees, with our black tees providing a total yardage of 1,418 yards, and our Gold tees providing a total yardage of 1,122 yards. Its convenient location and brisk speed of play allows for a quick getaway during the workweek or a break from weekend chores. The course is ideal for newer players who are appreciated at Rancho del Pueblo.

Pro Shop

The pro shop at Rancho del Pueblo Golf Course is fully-stocked for the season. We have plenty of new styles to choose from. We also have a wide range of clubs for players of all abilities. With some of the finest golf equipment and apparel on the market today, you are sure to find something to compliment your game.

Practice Facilities

We are a lighted facility open every evening until 8 PM, except on Tuesdays when we close at 6 PM for maintenance. The practice facility opens everyday at 7 AM, except on Wednesdays when we open at approximately 9 AM due to mowing and maintenance.
